The peppermint twist was red with a red/white stripe pickguard.

I have a 65. I had my luthier build
tatsandtelesI have a 65. I had my luthier build me a base with an ABR-1 bridge on it, makes a very BIG difference on the tuning issues up the neck. NO fretboard radius, you can fly on it if you get used to the tiny frets. Sounds great when you run it through a TC Jauernig Luxury Drive booster or any clean boost, followed by a nice analog delay. Country, Rockablilly, Rock. Great guitars to be had for under a grand.
